it's hard seeing your little ones in this state. but i know it's for their own good.
i made my first hospital visit today since i was discharged. i missed them so so much. i can't walk that well yet, but i didn't care... it took me forever to painfully waddle to the special care nursery, but i made it! even though i only spent several minutes with them, seeing them made my day.

while the twins have reached their one week milestone (they're no longer hooked to the ctg monitor, and have started bottle feeding instead of being tube-fed), mummy here has also achieved something she is proud of:

as a result of my kerja keras at expressing BM, i managed a good 130 mil after a week! that's quite an achievement for someone with non-existent boobies. hehe. yay boobies. now i've to work even harder in my pursuit to be the ultimate mother cow. have 2 mouths to feed mah!

Sunday, May 21, 2006 THE BEBERDS HAVE LANDED
they've arrived. my miracle duo. Adil Rayyan (left) and Adam Naufal bin Mohd Nazri.
the twins were delivered a minute apart via an emergency c-section on 15th May 2006. adam, being the engaged baby, was delivered first. he might be small at 1.7 kg compared to adil's 2 kg frame, but he's still one fighter of an abang. :)
i'd like to thank EVERYONE for all the well-wishes and prayers, they really meant a lot (they worked too, alhamdulillah!). adam is doing a lot better in the NICU, now that his heartbeat has picked up. i'm now recuperating at home, having spent 5 days in the hospital, but the babies are still in special care at kk. hubby and i are waiting anxiously for their homecoming. i miss them so :(
a special shoutout to shireen and malik, my unofficial birth paparazzi couple, who were there to receive the buns fresh from the oven, heheh. thanks also to the good people of izadnhana, who helped me spread the good news!
i will share my birth experience at the next blogging opportunity. for now i hope these videos will do.
