ATTENTION SHA!!!

can the darling sha who provided me with the republic/poly job lobang please please please give me your email add? i have many questions to ask you regarding the academic associate position. danke!!

i'm sending the twins for the first ever haircut today. their wispy straight baby hair has grown so much - it's now a mod-looking mop with tiny curls to boot! actually, i don't have the heart to snip off all that lovely hair - so cute lah, macam britpop - but it's beginning to irritate their ears a lot and they can't seem to stop scratching, not even when their ears bleed. sigh. so off to the (kiddy) barber we go!

"watch out for the next entry, ok! both of us have interesting stories to tell! sorry about that black blob in the background, we just *had* to censor ayah in his sexy boxers. mummy said those are for her eyes only. tsk."

SEE YOU THIS WEEKEND

i think i've made a mistake.

3rd month into the job and i'm slowly evolving into a weekend parent.

the reality is, there is so much work to settle that the 12 hours i clock in school daily are still not sufficient to get things done. in the mean time, the work continues to snowball. when that happens, i'll need to use up my valuable evenings to settle all the necessary marking and lesson preparation (plus reports, reports and more admin crap).

my boys??

forced to sleep over at my parents' place. just so that i can do work.

what i had strived so hard to avoid all this while is HAPPENING. me, the weekend parent. slowly, but surely.

this cannot go on, and will NOT go on. i have to do do something quick before i lose the bond that i've formed with my boys during my 'hey'days.

don't tell me to get a maid ok. that's not an option for me. correction; i don't want that as an option for the family as yet.

get a new job?

maybe. most probably.

anyone out there got lobang? i'm keen on staying put in the civil service if possible (somewhere pro-family!)

my sons need their mummy back.
